PADI Deep Speciality

This course is for the intermediate diver with a little more diving experience. It will qualify you to dive to the depth of up to 40 metres. This will enable you to develop your theoretical knowledge of deep diving, along with the planning and organization for deep no decompression dives.

Prerequisites:

• You must be a PADI Adventure Diver or PADI Advanced Open Water
• Minimum age is 15
• All students must fill in a PADI Medical questionnaire prior to participation and if need be get a doctors ok.

Course content

1 . Knowledge Development

Knowledge Development is based on a self-study method, prior to the course, allowing you to study in your own time, at your own pace. Your instructor will go through your knowledge development with you and explain any queries you may have.

2. 4 Open Water Dives

These dives which will be completed over a 2 day period are to make the student aware, and how to deal with a variety of environmental conditions in open water.
