PADI Divemaster Course
The Divemaster programme is the first course on the PADI Professional Membership ladder. The PADI Divemaster course is one of the finest programs in diver education today.
Once qualified the Divemaster rating will enable you to: -
* Organise, conduct and supervise diving activities, both land and water based.
* Act effectively as an instructional assistant to a certified PADI Instructor.
* Develop your diving knowledge to a level sufficient to become an Instructor.
* Prepare for Instructor level training.
Course Overview
The course can be run as an internship over a period of several weeks, or as an Intensive course over 9 days.
The internship programme covers watermanship and rescue assessment, diving theory development, underwater mapping, and supervision during pool and open water training session with students.
The intensive course includes watermanship and rescue assessment, diving theory development, underwater mapping procedures; pool and open water training using other divers in role-playing exercises.
Course Requirements:
* Minimum age; 18 years
* Certification: PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent rating.
* Hold a current certificate of First Aid and CPR.
* Have 20 logged dives for entry and 60 for exit certification.
