PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Speciality
DPVs make you thrill through the underwater life without having to kick your legs. A DPV is a fun way of diving while exploring too!
- You must be a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver
(or equivalent)
- Due to site rules minimum age is 12
- Children age 12 to 15 will be rewarded the PADI Junior Diver Propulsion Vehicle certification.
- All students must fill in a PADI Medical questionnaire prior to participation and if need be get a doctors ok.
While doing your knowledge development you will learn the reasons why people use DPV's, the mainenance, battery care and transportation of the DPV and the basic techniques of using a DPV (dive plans ect).
2. 2 Open Water Dives
You will learn how to operate the DPV while on the surface and underwater. How to make a propper ascent and exit from the water. You will learn how to independently plan and execute a dive using DPV according to the procedures and safety guidelines.
