PADI Search and Recovery Speciality

This course is familiarize divers on techniques, knowledge and skills of multi level diving with the Electronic Recreational Dive Planner, and/or with modern dive computers. This course will help to develop the knowledge of the theories behind the dive tables, dive computers and multi level diving.

Prerequisites:

• You must be a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent)
• Due to site rules minimum age is 12
• Children age 12 to 15 will be rewarded the PADI Junior Search and Recovery certification.
• All students must fill in a PADI Medical questionnaire prior to participation and if need be get a doctors ok.

Course content

1 . Knowledge Development

Knowledge Development is based on a self-study method, prior to the course, allowing you to study in your own time, at your own pace. Your instructor will go through your knowledge development with you and explain any queries you may have.

2. 4 Open Water Dives

These dives which will be completed over a day period are to make the student aware, and how to deal with a variety of environmental conditions in open water.
