PADI Wreck Speciality
This course is for the intermediate diver with a little more diving experience. It will qualify you to dive safely on wrecks, by understanding practical wreck knowledge including recognizing and avoiding potential hazards, planning procedures, and the historical value of wrecks. To also understand how to plan, organize, and identify the hazards of wreck penetration and techniques used to manage these safely.
- You must be a PADI Adventure Diver
(or equivalent)
- Minimum age is 15.
- All students must fill in a PADI Medical questionnaire prior to participation and if need be get a doctors ok.
- Option 1 1 day theory
- Option 2 1 day theory 1 day 2 dives
- Option 3 home study theory 1 day exam & 2 dives
1 . Knowledge Development
Knowledge Development is based on a self-study method, prior to the course, allowing you to study in your own time, at your own pace. Your instructor will go through your knowledge development with you and explain any queries you may have.
2. 4 Open Water Dives
These dives which will be completed over a 2 day period are to make the student aware of skills, techniques and the knowledge of how to dive on wrecks.
