BSAC Try Scuba

This is a 3 hour introduction to the world of scuba, a chance to try before committing to a training program. With an Instructor in the safety of a swimming pool the perfect place to start, have fun! This session can be stand alone, but if you decide to continue your education it forms the first classroom and pool session of the BSAC Ocean Diver course.

BSAC Ocean Diver
£395 / 5 Days - 4 dives

This course is run over 5 days. The start of your BSAC diving enjoyment, we can run this course in a block format, or over 3 weekends. The classroom and pool sessions of the BSAC Ocean Diver course gives the essential skills and knowledge that allows you to confidently move into open water to complete four open water dives and skills. A minimum of 120 minutes enjoying and developing skills in the underwater world. This course has a Drysuit familiarisation session. As a qualified BSAC Ocean Diver you can dive to a maximum depth of 20 metres. As a newly qualified Ocean Diver you will receive three months free membership to BSAC. The network of BSAC branches makes diving accessible and provides the opportunity to gain diving experience and enjoy meeting like-minded people.

BSAC Sports Diver
£395 / 5 Days - 5 dives

A 4 day course which builds on the knowledge and skills achieved during the Ocean Diver course. It also includes further diver rescue skills, decompression theory, along with experiencing different diving conditions during the open water dives. The course includes a minimum of 150 minutes underwater. On completion of this course you will be qualified to dive, worldwide, to a maximum depth of 35 metres. A Drysuit familiarisation is included.

Pre-requisites: Current BSAC membership and a current diving qualification, ( BSAC Ocean Diver / PADI Open Water or equivalent ).


BSAC Sport Diver Depth Experience

As a qualified BSAC Sport diver this is the opportunity to develop your skills and abilities in deeper diving. Under the guidance of our Instructors you will complete three dives to increase your depth experience to 35 metres.

This course concentrates on the responsibilities and safety aspects of leading and supervising an Open Water dive. It will increase your level of experience and enjoyment of diving. The practical rescue skills and management of a rescue scenario will give you the confidence and ability to deal with diver related emergencies. Divers at this level will normally have their own equipment, but kit can be hired if needed, or purchased from our very own mega scuba store "Underwater World". As a qualified Dive Leader you are ready if you wish to start achieving your BSAC Instructor qualification.
