The
bus sits about 30 metres away from the edge of the cliff that
drops down to the 36-metre areas.
Swimming
above the bottom helps to prevent stirring silt up, reducing visibility.
Placed in to Stoney Cove in the 1980's by our local Hinckley dive club it was actualy floated out supported by 40 gallon steel drums before we could afford proper lifting bags!
Look out for the small stell figurine fastened to the coach roof, his name is Rod
Finding the
bus is a navigational challenge. We've even been accused of moving it!
