I declare:

  • I will not undertake any dive in Stoney Cove unless I am competent to complete the dive successfully, or
  • I am receiving appropriate instruction/supervision.
  • I am medically fit to dive.

I acknowledge:

  • And agree to abide by the Stoney Cove regulations and recommendations.
  • That Stoney Cove is used entirely at my own risk and that the operators accept no responsibility for loss or damage to individuals or their property.
  • That the Stoney Cove rescue team are not part of the Emergency Services, however they will respond in an emergency and assist to the best of their competence and ability.

Swimmers Declaration

I declare:

  • I will not undertake any swim in Stoney Cove unless I am competent to complete the swim successfully, or
  • I am receiving appropriate instruction/supervision. And I acknowledge, and will abide by the terms, conditions, rules, regulations set out here and elsewhere by Stoney Cove media.
  • I am medically fit to swim.

I acknowledge:

  • And agree to abide by the Stoney Cove regulations and recommendations.
  • That Stoney Cove is used entirely at my own risk and that the operators accept no responsibility for loss or damage to individuals or their property.

Stoney Cove Re-Opening Guidance

COVID-19 PREVENTION MEASURES AND CONDITIONS

1. Public access to Stoney Cove is limited to diving and swimming customers only. Accompanying family members or friends are not allowed to enter Stoney Cove at this time.

2. Do not book a ticket to come to Stoney Cove if you have any of the following symptoms, which could be related to a COVID-19 infection:

Fever, Cough, Tiredness or Muscle Pain, Difficulty Breathing, Sore Throat, Lung Infections, Headache, Loss of Taste, Diarrhoea

If you are Covid 19 recovered or have had symptoms please consult with you GP before coming diving or swimming.

THE EUROPEAN COMMITTEE FOR HYPERBARIC MEDICINE recommend the following:-

Divers who have tested positive for COVID-19 but have remained completely asymptomatic should wait at least one (1) month before resuming diving.
Divers who have had symptomatic COVID-19, but not requiring hospitalization, should wait at least three (3) months before applying for fit-to-dive clearance conducted by a diving medicine specialist Divers who have been hospitalized with or because of pulmonary symptoms in relation to COVID-19, should wait at least three (3) months before applying for fit-todive clearance conducted or coordinated by a diving medicine specialist, with complete pulmonary function testing (at least FVC, FEV1, PEF25-50-75, RV and FEV1/FVC, and an exercise test with peripheral oxygen saturation measurement) as well as a high-resolution CT scanning of the lungs.

Divers who have been hospitalized with or because of cardiac problems in relation to COVID-19, should wait at least three (3) months before applying for fit-to-dive clearance conducted or coordinated by a diving medicine specialist with cardiac evaluation, including echocardiography and exercise test (exercise
electrocardiography)

3. If you have travelled in the last two weeks and or if you have been in contact with people affected or potentially affected by COVID-19, we recommend that you do not dive for at least two weeks.

4. Please be conservative and follow your training, minimise risk by taking an extra conservative approach to your diving.

6. Any tickets bought on this booking service may not be transferred or resold. Tickets bought are subject to UK consumer law .

7. Dive tickets can be refunded up to 48 hours before their valid date, less a £5 admin fee.

Buying our products and services
Making a purchase could not be easier.
We accept all major credit cards and other payment methods for our products, tickets and services.

Ecommerce
Making a purchase on our eCommerce sites and ticketing apps, just browse our Catalogs, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Checkout” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept the payment methods above if you are in the  UK. If you are shopping from Europe or North America or anywhere else, a bank transfer is required. We do not charge for any item, including back ordered items, until it is ready to ship.

Credit Card Security
All credit card numbers are encrypted though SSL when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any web site.

Delivery Schedule
We will normally deliver your order to you in 3-5 business days. If there is a longer delay we will inform you. If your requirement is urgent please contact us to check stock levels on 01455 273089.
International deliveries take between 5-14 days depending on destination.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. If the lead time is over 3 days you will be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Tax Charges
All products and shipping charges include VAT at 20%.

Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a Manufacturers 12 Month guarantee. This excludes AC Adapters which come with a 6 month guarantee. All returns are based on a repair or replace basis.

Underwater World do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties. Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the ‘Remember Me’ Option.

All information received is used to, process customer’s orders and to send occasional promotional offers from Underwater World. The customer can select if they wish to receive these offers when placing an order

Returns Policy
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a minimum 12 months guarantee. All returns are based on a repair or replace basis. Should you have any problems please contact us on +44 (0)1455 273089
Please make sure you send them back by RECORDED MAIL , in the original packaging and in an unused condition, so that you can track if you so wish, or to submit a claim if they are subsequently lost.

Diving at Stoney Cove
1. All visiting divers must complete and sign either a Stoney Diverlog application form or a diving day registration form or acknowledge the safety declaration when pay a diving fee or buying a ticket in advance.
2. Divers must read and abide by Stoney Cove’s rules when using the dive site and its services, these are available at stoneycove.com
3. Divers must familiarise themselves with all potential hazards that they may encounter before commencing any dive or diving project.
4. Any tickets purchased from the Stoney Cove Ltd booking app may not be transferred or resold.
5. Tickets bought are subject to UK consumer law and refunds will not be provided if you decide that you don’t want them or if you cannot attend.
6. Tickets can be cancelled by calling the admin team on 01455273089 – please have your order number ready (alternatively email [email protected]). An admin charge of £5 will be deducted from the amount and a credit coupon will be added to the online booking account.

Swimming at Stoney Cove

The Dive School at Stoney Cove
 1. All course bookings are confirmed by the payment of the course in full, in advance or 50% of the course fee with the balance paid on the first day of the course.
2. All course prices include site entrance and air fills, as required for the course.
3. All non-professional course prices – up to and including Rescue Diver – include free kit hire as required. If a participant has their own equipment which they wish to use, they are welcome to do so, subject to the Instructors agreement. Please note, that no discount can be given against the course price should a participant use their own equipment.
4. All non-professional course prices – up to and including Rescue Diver – include all required learning materials. If a participant already has valid learning materials, a discount may be given which will be equivalent to the cost price to The Dive School @ Stoney Cove for the same materials.
5. Professional level courses (from Divemaster upwards) do not include any free kit hire or learning materials.
6. All course prices are based upon a minimum of 2 participants per course.
a. We always try to book more than 1 customer per course however this may not always be possible.
b. Courses run on a 1 to 2 (1 student and 2 dive school officers)  basis will incur a £85 single supplement per day of the course.
c. If you are the only person on the course and you haven’t paid for 1 to 2 instruction, we will contact you at least 14 days in advance of the course to advise you of this. You will then have the option to choose alternative dates or pay a single supplement of £85 per day of the course. If you choose to change your dates and again are the only person on the course, we will not ask you to change your dates a second time, nor charge you an admin charge to continue the course on the rescheduled set of dates.
6. If you need to change your course dates:
a. If you give us more than 14 days’ notice we charge £20 to reschedule your course
b. If you give us less than 14 days’ notice, we charge £50 to reschedule your course.
7. If you need to cancel your course
a. For medical reasons, on receipt of a medical statement confirming the reason for cancellation we will give you a refund of your course fee, less an admin fee of £20 and less the retail value of the course materials we have posted to you. We cannot refund the cost of the materials that have been posted to you.
b. For other reasons and you give us more than 14 days’ notice will give you a refund of the course fee, less an admin fee of £50 and less the retail value of the course materials we have posted to you.
c.  If you give us less than 14 days’ notice you will forfeit your deposit.
8. If we need to cancel or postpone your course
a. Should we have to cancel your course we will give you a full refund including the retail value of the materials we posted to if you return them to us in the original packaging and unused.
b. If we have to postpone your course for any reason we will reschedule your course for the next mutually agreeable date at no cost to you.
9. If you fail to complete any part of the course
a. Should this be in any way your fault (e.g. you have not read the manual prior to starting the course as requested, or you arrived late, or you missed part of your training) we may have to add additional training in order to complete your training before we issue your completion certificate.
b. Through no fault of your own (e.g. you have arrived on time for all sessions and read the manual as requested ) The Dive School @ Stoney Cove will assist you to overcome any learning challenges and will bear any reasonable additional costs incurred.
c. If you have not dived within 6 months of the start date of the course, we may ask you to complete a Scuba Review before the start of the course.
10. Your booking will expire on the 12 month anniversary of your original booking
11. If you haven’t dived with The Dive School @ Stoney Cove previously,  we will assess your diving knowledge, skills and comfort in the water before or during the first dive of the course.
